Media bias shown again

Did you know that no one has ever dived in the Premier League before? Did you know it’s an outrage that David N’gog jumped out the way of a blind challenge that could have crippled him? Did you know N’gog should be ashamed of himself as he let the rest of the leagues players down, none of which have ever dived?

Yes the media have slaughtered young French striker David N’gog for his dive against Birmingham. Of course it should be mentioned, he shouldn’t have done it, it was immoral, but then again it got us a point. My question to the many journalists at the various newspapers and websites around the country is why didn’t you make such a fuss when a United or Chelsea player dived? Why didn’t you run back page articles every time Ronaldo dared to flop to the floor when he wasn’t touched last season? Why don’t you put articles on the main page of your website when Drogba goes down like he’s been shot after a clean challenge?

Personally I think the reasoning behind it is the majority of professional journalists don’t like us, we keep things in house so they can never get their latest scoop, we’re not like their much-loved media darlings Manchester United. The British media love to see us slip up or make a mistake, they fail to highlight N’gog’s brilliant goal to get the game up and running in the first half yet love to slate a young lad for making one mistake. I wonder what would happen if Rooney was in the same position, I reckon they’d probably all cream themselves over his wonder strike which ensured United walked out with something from the game.
