Liverpool Vs. Fiorentina – Be There

Posted by

Liverpool’s final European Cup game of this season is worth nothing on the pitch, but the game against Fiorentina is as important of the pitch as any of our group-stage games this season.

Spirit of Shankly- The Liverpool Supporters Union have organised a mass-protest in the stands, aimed to show the watching world we’re not happy with the clubs current owners. This kind of protest has been avoided before, mainly due to the fact that many feel protests inside the ground distract the players and ultimately effect their performance. As this game isn’t worth anything to us, being knocked out of the competition, it is the perfect stages to show everyone we want George Gillett and Tom Hicks out of our club.

Tickets are still on sale for the game to be played on Wednesday night. Get yourself there and get your voice heard. Bring flags and banners and most importantly bring your mates, it’s rare for Anfield not to sell-out so let’s at least make sure that the people who turn up and support the team even in the pointless games want to make a stand against the American owners.

  1. Anfield may not be full, but if every self respecting Reds fan screams out for their voice to be heard then we can bring the house down and can no longer be ignored by the Yanks!!
