Numbed

Posted by

The first thing I did this morning was to check the results from yesterday’s match. But what I got to read wasn’t very pleasant. It just hit me: we have lost 1:2 against Reading and we are out from the FA Cup.

What should I say? There isn’t much to say, is there? I do not like surprises like that. Frustration? It doesn’t even feel like frustration, it’s more than just a frustration. Anger? Helplessness? Yeah, that’s it, I think. It feels like to get numbed at the dentist’s: you see what’s happening but you can’t feel anything and you don’t care, you just want to go through this, you want do end this as soon as possible. That’s quite how I feel, I can’t describe it better. I can’t believe what’s happening with our Club in this season.

I just want the good times back, I do not want to fear every match day anymore, I want to feel pleased after the games, just like it used to be.

Even though I’m happy about Maxi’s signing I’m also a bit afraid of the pressure which he’ll have to carry now … Torres and Stevie got injured yesterday and I do hope that it wont get serious but we all have to count with the worst. If they are about to be out for few weeks it’s Maxi who will have to help us out from the misery. That’s what everyone is hoping for and the pressure on him will rise, which isn’t always good. Remember Robbie Keane?

I still do believe in my team, there’s no doubt about that: through thick and thin. Let us just hope that the storm soon will be over …

  1. i believe we are all responsible for the well being of the club we love. it’s too late to point fingers.. it’s time to take actions..
in my humble opinion.. i believe the owners have taken the supporters for granted while they sit and reap whatever revenue that is being generated for now to settle their debts..

imagine (to think about what i am about to say hurts me more than anything) LFC playing to an empty stadium? what would be the implications or the seriousness of the message that would send to the owners.. i have lost words to express the dissapointment i have to this badspell that the club is going through..
pls accept my appologies if I had said something to offend or hurt anyone..

  2. A word of advice to Mr Benitez. Don’t worry about getting into the top 4, just concentrate on staying out of the bottom 3!

NEWSFLASH…Maxi has just handed in a transfer request to Rafa.

  3. The Mancs are doing my head in – now they’re saying it’s our turn to be dumped out the cup. What they fail to realise is they were dumped out fair and square by a league one team and we were robbed by a Championship team in the dying minutes by a Rogue decision.

We were up against a far better class of opposition than they were. My question is if we’re not a threat to them as they so often tell me, why are they always looking over their shoulders incase we’re there, maybe with the right players (Maxi, possibly Chamakh, etc) we can still win the title – everyone above us are dropping points more than I’ve ever seen, we are only 12 points behind getting a title which if you think about it is nothing really. I hope Man City finish above united and we finish top this year I’m sick of them being smug and talking about us like we are just dreamers, if I remember we wrote our history long before half of their so-called fans began to like United, they were all probably supporting us at the time the glory hunting little….

Anyway I’m done you don’t have to publish this it just made me feel better to let it out without resorting to something drastic
