Top Ways to know you are a Reds Fan

Posted by

I was listening to my itunes radio stream last night, and one of my favorite comics was on, Jeff Foxworthy. I’m sure some of you don’t know who he is. He’s the man behind, and in front of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. One of his bits is “You might be a Redneck if”

So I was thinking you might be a Reds fan:

1) You’ve been asked for an interview for a new job, and show up in Liverpool Training Gear
2) Your pin code for your credit card contains numbers of your favorite players
3) You’ll only buy red sheets for your bed
4) When naming your children you try to find a creative way to make Gerrard a girls name
5) You own every book ever written about the club
6) You know exactly where you or your family was during key points in Reds history.
7) Just the name Manchester pisses you off.
8) You can’t watch Black Eyed Peas because the name Fergie pisses you off
9) You really think the movie Shrek is about Wayne Rooney
10) You live in, or near a Liverpool.
11) You’ve scheduled your work around anything to do with the Reds
12) You only listen to bands from Liverpool
13) You want to be married at Anfield
14) Your Postal Address has something to do with the club
15) Instead of “What would Jesus do” you have a “What would King Kenny Do” Bracelets.

  1. How about walking round the town centre of Manchester with your Liverpool top showing proudly – much like I do every Friday :)

  2. The No. 1,4 & 9 are really good..Was thinking what would be the feminine of Gerrard..GERRy..Tory for torres would be fine!!(WILL TRY to better that because the last one gets same for TERRY also ..!!);-)

  3. excellent!!!!!

but don’t agree with number 10!!!

i live 200 miles from anfield but still make it to more games than friends i have who live in Liverpool

your address DOES NOT make you a true red…… YOU make you a true red

  4. Embarrassing and cheesy. Each and every one of them.

Here was me expecting something about knowing the history of the club, recognising when the opposition plays well, having good understanding of football in general, supporting the team through the wind and rain.

I dont think I have any of the above points. I do go to matches though, unlike almost everybody on this website.
