During the Bolton game I posted a joke tweet as Ryan Babel was about to come on
@empireofthekop RT @RyanBabel I am coming on
I meant no harm with the tweet, between the lines I was saying “I am happy to see Ryan back”.
I sent a tweet right away saying that is was a joke however some of the @RyanBabel followers did not see my second tweet and thought it was true that he was tweeting during the game.
Without a doubt Ryan was upset about it and in a way I do not blame him because he did not see the whole thing either.
It was the first time Ryan has played since the Twitter incident two weeks ago, everyone who follows @empireofthekop got the joke. Honestly I was very happy to see Ryan coming on and playing.
I did send an apology to Ryan about this incident and I feel bad because thinking about the hoopla caused last time I betcha the Sc*m had already probably printed the back page for tomorrow morning. “Ryan Babel tweeting from bench”.
Ironically right after the game I posted this on my Facebook profile.
“Offending Rafa or any Liverpool player is like offending a member of my family. I can not be friends with people who offend my family.”
I sure look like an ass now.
