Thanks to all those who have nominated us for the Shorty Awards (The Twitter Oscars).
I am very happy and grateful that @empireofthekop is now in the final round of the #sports category.
The final round voting has now started and it runs until 5PM (UK Time) on Friday Feb 5th.
If you have a Twitter account please give us a vote, we are the only Liverpool FC tweeters to reach the final round. It is very competitive, Sao Paulo & Flamengo are both represented and the Brazilian fans are very passionate about their teams.
Here are some of the rules of voting:
- Twitterers are welcome to campaign and encourage their friends to vote for them
- Voters must be active Twitter users prior to the start of the competition. Votes originating from new Twitter accounts or accounts used mainly for Shorty Awards voting will automatically be disqualified and will not count toward the rankings
- We periodically perform audits to make sure our system isn’t being gamed.
