Today we need to keep the ball in midfield and work hard off the ball, otherwise Everton will find it easier to get behind us and put crosses in for Cahil. So today we do need both Lucas and Masc and hope they are both on form. If they are then we should have plenty of chances.
I would like to see Gerrard on the right today but it’s kuyt. I would have Kuyt up front with Gerrard right and Maxi supporting central, then Riera on the left. Pity Aurelio is not starting, but that’s understandable as he is coming back from injury. Agger at the back should give us some vision going foward from the back.
Everton are lining up with a similar formation and style, I like tothink when teams do that, we normally dominate and look very good.
