Thousands of Liverpool supporters on Twitter have been adding the tag #JFT96 to all their tweets since yesterday and finally the tag started trending at around 11:30 AM U.K. time today. What a fitting tribute to the ninety-six who lost their lives at Hillsborough.
This is not the first time that Liverpool supporters have been able to get a Twitter trending topic, in the past #DONTBUYTHESUN , #YNWA and also #HICKANDGILLETT out have trended. To my knowledge no other football team has been able to get a Twitter trending topic (other than maybe their team name) and this really shows the dedication of the best supporters in the world.
