Paul Dalglish’s Rowdies get off to a winning start

Paul Dalglish is taking another step in his father’s footsteps. After hanging his boots, the son of King Kenny has landed his first job as a manager.

Paul’s official title is head coach (however he performs the same role as a manager would in the U.K.) of the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He is delighted that his lads got off to a winning start after they beat Baltimore away 1-0. Their next game is on Saturday April 24th away to Minnesota stars.

The young gaffer’s team has a very international flavour to it with players hailing from the United States, the Caribbean, South America, Asia and the U.K.

If your travels bring you to Florida this summer check out the Rowdies schedule, the home games only start at $12 (around £8).

I am personally looking forward to seeing Rowdies on May 1st when they face  FC Miami. Although Miami is closer to my home I will be cheering for the Tampa Bay Rowdies as so will many other South Florida Reds. We plan to all get together and I am sure that Paul will be put on a big smile when he hears a rendition of Y.N.W.A. coming from the Kop in Exile :-)

Y.N.W.A. Paul and good luck
