The first half of the game had a lot to be desired however Rafa switched Maxi’s and Babel’s position at the start of the 2nd half and maybe it made the difference.
Kuyt hobbled off with what looked like an injured knee early in the 2nd half which I hope it is nothing serious and he can be available for the Thursday game. Excellent game by Maxi & Aquilani who scored and assisted respectively. Gerrard scored the second while Maxi scored the first Maxi-Goal for Liverpool.
And finally in the last few seconds of the game Ryan Babel made it 4 to give us a better goal average than City & Spurs.
