Ayala Looking At Spanish Return

After making five encouraging appearances for Liverpool last season, including two starts, young starlet Dani Ayala is set for a season-long loan move to Spanish second division club Real Valladolid, with a view to a permanent move.

The young Spanish defender, signed from Sevilla back in 2007 on a 3yr deal after rejecting a professional contract with them, now only has one year left on his contract and, following Rafa Benitez’s departure to Inter Milan, is showing interest in a return to his native Spain for the 2010/11 season.

Ayala has been credited with saying: “Right now I am waiting to see what my future is because I don’t know what will happen now Benitez has left. I am happy at Liverpool but I would be very excited to play in Spain,”

Daniel made his senior debut on 16 August 2009 against Spurs, coming on as a substitute for the injured Skrtel and made his first start for the club at home to Stoke City on the 19 August 2009.

Despite the new arrival of Roy Hodgson, player uncertainty continues at both reserve and fiest team levels with many players looking to see how early pre-season training develops and whether they have a future at Anfield under the new charge, in many cases though it is more of a case of if they want one.
