No one has had more fun than Pepe Reina celebrating Spain’s World Cup victory.
The Liverpool keeper was in full fiesta mood as the plane returned to Spain from South Africa. Yep Pepe was the ring-leader, getting David Villa and Sergio Ramos to join him in singing, dancing and teasing of Iker Castillas. The players were not traveling in coach but apparently Iker moved back to the economy cabin to be with his journalist girlfriend. Reina got his iPod out and started singing and dancing the popular Merengue song “Pintame” (Paint Me) which was popularised in 1999 by Puerto Rican singer Elvis Crespo (no relation to Hernan). I still can not believe that one of the passengers was trying to sleep during the whole ordeal.
Later in the evening during a celebration show Pepe was the master of ceremonies, he introduced the Spanish players and poked some fun at Cesc Fabergas. The Arsenal fans will not be happy to see Reina, Puyol & Pique bundle him in a Barcelona shirt while calling him “The Future of Barcelona & Spain”. Fernando Torres was mentioned in the video below but he doesn’t come out on stage, probably not to aggravate his injury.
