  1. It is tantalising, although I’m so so cynical. It will take more than rhetoric to appease us this time. By the way, it doesn’t appear that Yossi was making any comments relating to H & G’s financial (mis)administration of the club, just emphasising that the club’s off-pitch problems didn’t particularly affect the morale or performances of the players. He was stressing player culpability (including himself). He doesn’t seemed to have been discussing investment or player acquisitions. After all, Manchester City’s three-year investment clearly hasn’t affected its squad :-DD

  2. Anyone interested in the takeover by Huang should check out this article. Paul Tomkins tweeted it this morning.

Doesn’t sound too promising. Apparently he’s not even a billionaire as presviously reported, and going directly through RBS to buy the club’s debt is a load of bull. I won’t believe anything I read about his guy unless the club actually announces something.
The only hope is that he is heading a sovereign wealth fund or that other bidders’ credentials check out.
    Let’s hope.

  3. I watched the reservs game and suso stood out by a mile. The kids ability to pass and receive the ball under presure and make something happen is clear for all to see. I am looking foward to seeing him grow and improve. He is looking well class. Suso YNWA

also looking good on the taking over of the club this month, good riddens yanks!!!

  4. Does anyone know how I could watch the reserves game vs Tranmere? I really want to see Suso’s performance. I keep reading great things and just saw a little video of him. Wish he would have come on earlier against Borussia.

We really have some promising young talent in Sterling and Suso. Only 15 and 16 years old! Sheesh. Blows my mind. Really hope we hold on to these boys.

Between them, Amoo (19), Eccleston (19), Ince (18), Dalle Valle (18), Shelvey (18), Kelley (20), Ayala (19), Mavinga (19), Wilson (18) and Pacheco (19), we really have some great young talent. There is also Nemeth (21) and Spearing (21).

Hopefully a few of these players can break into the first team.
