On Sunday we welcome Arsenal for our first game of the 2010/11 English Premier League Season.
It has been a Summer of big changes at L.F.C. with Roy Hodgson taking the helm, club sale being spun into limbo, Insua and Mascherano wanting to leave but still can’t find a club that would pay, the arrivals of Joe Cole, Milan Jovanovic, Jonjo Shelvey, Danny Wilson, Christian Poulsen and Fabio Aurelio (who left but then later returned).
Roy Hodgson has claimed that Fernando Torres might feature and there is talk that new signing Christian Poulsen will start on the bench. Dirk Kuyt and Pepe Reina should also return to the first team and I also predict that Roy will opt for Lucas as holding midfield instead of Mascherano following the uncertainty about Masch’s future.Joe Cole should get the nod over Maxi Rodriguez while new boy Milan Jovanovic will play up front with Fernando Torres. Of course Steven Gerrard will lead the charge and he is all pumped up for the season after saving England from blushes with two wonder goals against Hungary on Wednesday.
