I interviewed Paul Dalglish via Skype this afternoon (clips below).
In the interview Paul talks about his team The Tampa Bay Rowdies, the league format in the U.S.A. and how football in general is progressing here in America. He also reveals his passion for coaching and his special mentor who is available only a phone call away.
Paul spoke of his love for Liverpool F.C. and what was it like growing up at Anfield and Melwood while his dad was a player and later the manager of L.F.C. He speaks of his Istanbul memory and of course how Hillsborough effected him and his family. He admitted also that he feels hurt that a lot of people had said that his dad was out of touch with the modern game when he was being linked with the Liverpool job. He also talks about what it means to wear the Liverpool shirt and the kind of player must wear it.
He goes on to talk about his playing days as a kid when him and a certain Evertonian called Jamie Carragher would sometimes play against each other and how their dads got into a huge argument over a penalty that was not given.
