Our second game of the 2010/11 Premier League season takes us to the Eastlands to face those who think that they can buy football (Manchester City).
Roy Hodgson will be without Joe Cole as he is banned but Daniel Agger is expected to return after missing out on Thursday’s game. Javier Mascherano did not feature on Thursday, however after his excellent performance against Arsenal I expect Roy to start him tomorrow. I also believe that Roy might not start Christian Poulsen and Daniel Agger but rather bring on the two Danes later in the game. Fernando Torres will probably get his first start now that he played a full 45 minutes on Thursday and looked very sharp. Maybe we will see a link up with David and Nando up front and of course our Captain Fantastic Stevie G. returns after being rested against the Turks.
As far as City are concerned so far they haven’t impressed me this season, they were pegged down at their end against Spurs and won their Europa league tie with a narrow margin. The big talk there is if their new Italian so called “Maestro” Mario Balotelli will play. Oh! Whatever!!!, bring them on!!
