Neither tough, nor good draw…

Some LFC supporters are excited of playing Steaua, Utrecht and Napoli. Others would have prefer we played bigger ones. Others would have felt relief of playing small teams…

A draw is never bad or good: it only depends of your club’s expectations, and yours.

This year, we have new players, new coach, new tactic. As medias say: it’s a new era. Do Liverpool FC want and need this cup? Are players motivated to play it? What are our sportive priorities? And you, what do you expect of your club?

In my opinion, top priority is championship. Without ignoring Europa league, I would understand key players more motivated by PL than EL. I would understand Roy, if he rest key players for EL matches.
We have young talents who want to prove that they’re ready to have an important role in the squad. Kiriakos, Aurelio, Poulsen, are the kind of players who can help Kelly, Ngog, Pacheco (and others) to improve… and EL is the right cup for our “second squad”.

In a perfect context, we could playe all cups with top players… but we all know the LFC’s situation.

We need to be back in top four as quick as possible, and play Champions League. And the right way to succeed is to make PL our top priority…

And supporting our “second team” to make its best in EL…
