OFFICIAL : Reds agree Mascherano fee

Posted by

Liverpool’s official website confirmed we have agreed terms for the transfer of Javier Mascherano to Barcelona. it was always a question of when and not if and honestly, I would rather see a Lucas who is willing to sweat blood play than a world class midfielder who REFUSES to play and respect the famous red shirt. I always liked Masch and never wanted to see him go but after all the events that have transpired in the recent past, I would have to say that all the respect I had for him has gone. Yes, he wanted out but you have to honor your contract and not make such a fuss about it. we said that we would let him go for the right price and not get bullied by Barcelona, and quite rightly so. he let his teammates down, his manager down, the fans down, The Kop down.

I am disappointed, frustrated and angry about the whole situation.

Nevertheless, good luck Masch and all the best for the future.

  1. Sorry mate, I don’t wish him good luck and all the best, No matter how good he was playing for us last time, in the end he just back stabbing LFC, that make LFC to lose alot of money because that make Spanish club to take advantage of the situation. He is the same as “Brutus the Traitor”. Not only he insult the contract and redshirt, he also make LFC alot of money to lose for investing him.

  2. hope i never see him again the playes at liverpool were aways very proud to were the liverpool top and play infort of the kop so i glad he has gone dont need him cole and gerrard will do the job

  3. when we took him on from west ham he was a bit part player who wasnt going anywhere, liverpool made him what he is today and i think he has shown disrespect for the coverted red shirt bill shankly would have got rid of him long ago he just a sneaky unloyal argy scumbag and i hope he polishes the bench with his arse at barca

  4. onwards and upwards. let’s hope woy blows the lot on a top striker. not much loyalty about these days. shows what a gem Carra is.

  5. Nice! Now Mascherano can be like a bodyguard in the midfield to those punks who like taking down Iniesta. Iniesta-Mascherano-Xavi, with Messi hovering close by… is there a better midfield in the world?

  6. and now he says he doesn’t regret the way he conducted himself before he left. what a Scumbag
