Thanks to the great site LFCHistory I was able to find stats of all the goal keepers that played for Liverpool.
To come up with this chart I only took those who played at least 100 games, this left me with 16.
Here are how they rank up on goals conceded for the games that they have played.
I consider myself blessed to remember the top 6 play, it is really interesting to see how the modern keepers all rank so high. Is it the training? The ball, gloves or any other clothing? The pitch? Videos?
As the chart shows Clem & Reina are pretty much neck and neck, it will be interesting to see if Pepe will beat Clem’s record. However to know for sure we will have to wait until Pepe retires or leaves us so I am not in a hurry to find out :-)
