Here is a great video showing Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher applauding the anti-Hicks & Gillett protesters.
After the game was over Stevie and Jamie were taking part in a warm-down and passed by the protesters engaged in the sit in. Both Scouse players raised their hands and applauded, what a great gesture!!
Good to note that the Sky report had the estimated number of protesters wrong, the Merseyside police put the number at 9,000 and not 2,000 as reported by the Rupert Murdoch owned TV channel.

Fabulous news – true Reds and I reckon they might go on strike if Hicks and GG stay – the Yanks will be owners of an old ground without ant supporters or players – shrewd business men indeed.
