  1. (Whatever, we still hate you)

Please delete the word HATE from you vocabulary. Football people simply DO NOT HATE EACH OTHER

  2. Ground share! A new stadium is so far away from us at the minute! Lets just try and win 2 matches in a row please.

  3. In regards to Steve McManaman’s comments, I have thought similar since the pre- and early season feel-good factor evaporated at Anfield.

Gerard has proved his loyalty time and time again, however, if he believes that the club is not going forward, which it isn’t, who would begrudge him a move away? It would be a travesty that a player of Gerard’s quality could go his entire career without a league winner’s medal, and if he has to move away to attain this, I for one would thank him for all he has done for the club, wish him well for the future and know that he will be a red legend despite of this.

  4. To be honest I think Gerrard’s probably missed the boat in regards to making a move away from Anfield. I don’t really see him going to anyone else in the EPL but I suppose there could be a chance that he’d take a move to Italy for the chance of a league championship.

Torres I’m not so sure about. He’s not in good form but more importantly, as has been pointed out repeatedly, he’s clearly not happy. He’s a genuine “world class” player who is playing in a team that will fight hard to reach anything better than 6th place. Assuming that we can’t get new owners in by January, I’d fully expect a bunch of teams to come after him.

I completely agree with Graham Poll’s words, and I don’t think it’s particularly great to dismiss them because he happened to mention Gerrard. There is no respect for officials in football. Watch a game of Cricket, Rugby Union, Rugby League, AFL or American Football and you’ll see how players should behave on the pitch in regards to how they interact with the ref. It’s something that has never been stamped down upon, and just like the increasing regularity in which we see players diving or feigning injury, without action it will only get worse.

  5. Re: ground share: at last someone is talking sense. Share the ground and split the cost. Both clubs need a new ground and it’s not like either team has the funds to go it alone (hopefully that will change in the next few weeks). Have it built as part of the 2012 Olympics and then do a Man City – buy it back or pay rent, and have it used week in-week out.

  6. Totters isn’t happy because the lack of money that has been put into the club, he stated that before he said he would stay thinking we would have new owners sooner rather than latter. This still hasn’t happened and if it stil hasn’t happened before jan then yes torress wi be leaving. As to the stadium share I think it’s just stupid!

  7. A ground share is what makes the most sense what we get out of this financial mess. I’d rather share a new ground with Everton (temporarily or permanently) than continue to lose money because Anfield isn’t big enough.

As for swearing players….well, if I had the champions league or a 100 grand bonus on the line, I think I’d be a bit more passionate about things than an 9 year old. If you take your 9 year old son’s game as seriously as the premiership match the night before, you can go to hell as far as I’m concerned.
