Rafa’s milk and sugar, not bizarre at all [video]

The whole British media is all over the place calling on Rafa’s “bizarre” rants with some claiming that he is obsessed with Liverpool.

First of all, Rafa’s last two press conferences involved many members of the British press who were there because Inter are playing Spurs in the Champions League. Rafa was simply answering their questions, he could have chosen to ignore them however he wants to defend his own record at L.F.C. and that is why he answered them, you and I would have probably done the same thing.

Second; in both press conferences Rafa makes perfect sense, however everybody focuses on the Spanish sayings that Rafa did a literal translation on. What Rafa said was is not strange or bizarre and anyone like me who has another native tongue (other than English) will totally understand. I find myself reverting to my native tongue when trying to get a point across. I can imagine if I was in Rafa’s shoes and translated a saying from Maltese like “Everyone has something to smell under their arm pits” the news headlines would probably read “Antoine doesn’t shower” or “Antoine’s arm pits smell”.

“White liquid in a bottle, milk”

“Priest on a mountain of sugar”

Y.N.W.A. Rafa, miss you dearly.
