I know the whole mantra of supporting our manager and that we are Liverpool but enough is enough Roy Hodgson is not the right man for Liverpool F.C. and he must go NOW.
First of all why should I support a manager that doesn’t support his own players or a manager that brought so much heartache to the many fans. He even went as far as attacking our most loyal
supporters for singing the name of “Dalglish”. These hard-working fans are paying good money to see the Reds play and expect more than the negative football being exhibited on the pitch. Football is not just about winning (or in Roy’s case playing for a draw) but it is about entertainment, there is a reason it is called the beautiful game. I am no footballing expert but even the village idiot could have figured out that tonight’s lineup didn’t work, playing the players out of position seems to be fashionable with Roy lately.
Some are arguing to give Roy more time, it takes time to rebuild. Rebuild!!!! Rebuild what? Roy inherited an awesome squad that lacked some depth and instead of going out and build on that he dismantled it.
He loaned out young Emiliano Insua & Alberto Aquilani and replaced them with Paul Konchesky & Christian Poulsen. To add insult to injury he even sold one of our brightest young prospects Lauri Dalla Valle to his former club.
I am not going to get into the whole rumours of Roy alienating players however Daniel Agger also publicly stated that he doesn’t like Roy’s style of play. Ever since that statement Daniel had been “injured” only to return to the bench tonight. Why didn’t he start Daniel Agger over Martin Skrtel baffles me, or why Paul Konchesky over Fabio Aurelio???!
Chris Mavinga has also publicly stated that he feels alienated by Roy who ‘prefers’ English players. Oh! what about Dani Pacheco? The hottest Spanish sensation now wants to leave L.F.C.
John W Henry and Tom Werner need to free us from this misery tomorrow as many fans are losing patience with them too.
