  1. Excellent!
Well done to the owners for thinking about the club and the fans.
I believe they are trying to do what is right with this decision and could have taken other decisions.

  2. It’s the only move that could have been made at this time. I Think John Henry and Co. would have sacked Roy by the end of the season no matter what results were like in the second half of the season. It’s a step that really needed to be taken and hopefully it works out great for Kenny as he has been dreamin of this from the first time he left his beloved Liverpool cause of some disastrous events that superied football long live his second coming the throne was always their for u king Kenny let it be yours forever more

  3. Just epic! Now all is righted off the pitch. It is now time to do what we do better than anyone. Play pass n move, scouser ball !! ALLLL ROUND THE FIELDS OF ANFIELD ROAD, WHERE ONCE WE WATCHED THE KING KENNY PLAY …..

  4. To be honest, it’s probably the right move in the short term, but it’s not a proud day to be a Liverpool fan – we don’t do things like this, we don’t hound out our managers , the campaign against Hicks and Gillett was an exception, this sets a very worrying precedent

  5. Kenny can’t do worse than Roy. Welcome Kenny and wish you speedy success to restore Liverpool’s glory days.

Well, that said, I must add that some of the team’s players should also be asked to go!

  6. I no lots of reds supporters are abit dubious about Kenny returning as the manager of lfc but let me put your mind at rest this man is football through and through he knows what the game is all about in the modern era so you dont have to worry there or would you rather watch the drivel roy brought to the playing field of Anfield . I believe Kenny is the man to get the best out of babel he did it with barnes and I am certain he will get nando back to his best gerrard idolises Kenny and will run through brick walls for him .Kenny will have studied the rest of the team over the season and will change were needed he will also bring in quality players in the jan window we cant expect miricales from Kenny straight away but we know that the right man is finaly in the job he was born to do and let me say what ever happens under Kenny he is still the greatst player I have ever seen in a liverpool shirt . I would just like to say I do hope Roy gets a new job very soon he is a good man but was just not right for us good luck roy and thank you King Kenny for returning in our hour of need.

  7. Nice pic, Antoine!

I hope this works better though I fear that this could all go pear-shaped and damage the reputation of our greatest player ever. And get us relegated. For now I hope that Kenny gets better performances out of those players than Rafa did in his last season and Roy up until now.

  8. This is not just fantastic for LFC but as a lifelong fanatical supporter this news gives me such a lift personaly. I have dreamt of this for almost twenty years. I just hope if he is does well he is given the opportunity to continue as manager. Now that he is in the job why look elsewhere if proves himself once again (not like he should need to) and the fans are delirious over his appointment. Sales will now go through the roof as all supporters should show there support by buying something from LFC direct off the web.
Good luck KING KENNY we all love you no matter what.

  9. we will now play to our strenghts, no hiding or dossing wil be tollerated by anyone, we will play attacking football, we will hear positive words and get positive vibes, the crowd will be brought to life again BUT WE MUST BUY A TOP STRIKER.

  10. King Kenny knows how to get the very best out of players, he is great motivator and man manager, His role as ambassader will help as he has soon the club at close quarters and knows the youth at the club too. His aura and presence will be a huge boost, a win over Man U will give us lift off and shut up whiskey nose. We don’t need loads of changes, we need belief, fight, spirit and pride. A oouple of good signings in January like Mertasker, Turan, Taiwo and Suarez (£44m)is all we need. Bring back Aquilani get rid of Poulsen, Konchesky, Skrtle and Lucas (£22m) and we have take off. A partner for Torres, some trickery and speed on the wings, a decent left back and decent central defender. Come on you Reds….

  11. Just get rid of bums like Lucas Kuyt. Koncheski. Nogog. Sing left winger top class striker left back top class right winger need to spend 100 million Do not use Lucas. Or Kuyt or koncheski against united Lucas can’t pass or read the game no way near good enough for Liverpool Kuyt is the same cant win balls can’t pass his man shit ball control no wonder we are crap

  12. Great news! Kenny Daglish’s record is legendary and rightly so for what he achieved. Roy, a good man and manager, was simply too mediocre, too “average” for LFC. Kenny is a canny tactician he will get the best out of the players and the lift the club desperately needs will be huge. The right decision at the right time. Well done owners. This marks the beginning of the end of our great club’s troubles. YNWA.

  13. well done to the liverpool board, they sacked a decent manager just because a few knob-heads wouldnt give him time to sell rafas flops and bring in his own players.

  14. This is interestingly encouraging many fans has been calling for King to be the manager even right from Benitez’s days and when Benitez left he admitted openly he would fancy King Kenny as the manager rather than an outsider..King does know the club quite well,he lives and breathes the club he knows the tradition and the style of play that suits the club, once a football manager always a football manager pls I urge fans to stick by him through this stormy weather we found ourselves after Uncle Roy did stamp his negative mark on the team.Credit to the then chairman Martin Broughton and Christian Purslow for getting rid of the scum bags and liers in G&H but they got it wrong absolutely on whom should have been the manager but they appointed a manager with whom has only won 6 away games in 3 different teams he had managed in the premier league, pathetic isn’t it

  15. I think that Kenny will do a good job but will not get us
in to the top 4 , it’s to late for that and to late for Kenny to
bring in his own players. But as long as we qualify for the Europa
league next year and as long as we start playing football pass and
move attack the Liverpool way then that is our pride restored ,
anything more than that is a bonus and also would be a statement in
Kenny taking the job full time and not just for six months . The
glory days are not going to come back at the drop of Kenny being
appointed but it is a step in the right direction with out a doubt
    . YNWA

  16. @hamiltonred HOW THE HELL DID ROY BECOME OUR MANAGER IN THE
FIRST PLACE?? Im glad we hounded him out, you think LFC is a joke?
Roy hodgeson my arse! LFC regardless of not having billions to blpw
should ALWAYS be associated with Top managers…. Just a thought
    ;)

  17. If only benitez could be happy with being kennys no 2. Or
vice versa. Get sammy lee out!

  18. I believe he is only appointed for the FA match with man utd, andre villas-boas is our man that will change everything.liverpool dream team de gea santon shawcross skrtel coentrao mvilla gerrard hazard defederico torres alexis sanchez

  19. Sometin ever1 shuld see he may kno everithin abt the club but that doesnt mean he can really help us,i know wot am saying we are in a position that needs quick fix and have seen andre villas-boas or hiddink to do that but i will prefer andre villas-boas,it seems a lot of lfc fans dont know this man,i have followed this man for sometime now and i know wot he can do.kenny may be good but this is not 1980s,this is a new era, things have changed, imagine us playin old football this modern days.premier league is realy tough,if not the toughest so our managerial position is not a gamble.pep guardiola did not coach any team b4 barca and see now the new style of barca more technical and advanced.bring this man ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS to do wonders and get rid of reina,we think he is good, keeping clean sheets,we need performer, good one on one with high reflexes.de gea or nuer.krygiakos, agger, johnson, konchesky, aurielo, poulsen, meireles, babel, jova, jcole, kuyt and maxi all out replacing them with young bloods de gea santon shawcross coentrao mvilla hazard sanchez defederico shaqiri adambarton, insua, jonathan viera. He plays 433 and it suit us well.torres will become versatile playing in flanks and everi1 working for one anoda, let us do all our best to bring this man.tanks

  20. I wonder who you mugs will abuse now that you have your way, because god knows with that squad of players you will still underperform, its time to turn on Lucas again, cant wait for Kenny to flop and I will anticipate coming back here to see the next in line after:
    Hicks
    Gillette
    Benitez
    Hodgson
Youre a crap team and with fans like you lot will never reclaim past glories, I hope Man Utd smash you today

  21. I wanted Hodgson to do well for us, but he did say judge me after 10 games, then wanted more time to put his stamp on the squad, well he did bring in Cole, Konchesky, Poulson and Meireles, nice stamp Mr Hodgson! so he has a go at the fans for jeering crap football, what are they going to do? so he gets whats coming to him. Dont forget he’s a very wealthy man, he does’nt have to sign on in the morning like the rest of us if we lose our jobs, so i don’t feel sorry for him. Well done to NESV for listening to the fans (they knows where the money comes from), it’s one thing giving the fans the manager they want to keep them sweet, but it’s investment in players that’s urgently required. Come on you mighty reds and good luck king Kenny.

  22. This is a bad day for LFC. I’m all for owners taking a balanced view and taking on board the view of fans, but when they start acting too quickly to the views of the’burger flippers’ who go to the match, I get worried. Lets not forget, Kenny couldn’t hack it in the good times, never mind the bad and we risk the vilification of a hero, because anybody would struggle with the squad that Rafa left behind him..

  23. My God you’re all sadly deluding yourselves if you think this appointment will be a panacea to cure all ills. The only slim chance of Liverpool lifting a trophy in the forseeable future is via one of the cups, I can’t ever see the day when they’ll be able to compete for League Titles & the European Cup on a consistent basis again.
