  1. Inaccurate from Owen. Liverpool over the last 6 years without him performed better in the league than when he was here – even including last years underperformance. Check out the stats for points, positions, goals scored etc in the league. Sour grapes because Benitez didn’t want him. Given Owen’s performances – or lack of – in the last few years this has proved justified.

  2. i personally thought owen was always overrated,score in two games wouldn’t score for five or six then get injured.Robbie was much better than owen

  4. I hope Babel doesnt leave. His electric pace and finishing abilty makes him a far better back up to Nando than say Carlton Cole or other players we have been linked with. Frankly he hasn’t be given a chance by Benitez or Hodgson. The flying dutchman needs a run in the strikers role to demonstrate his true effectiveness. He certainly merits consideration ahead of Ngog who IMHO has struggled in recent games.
