Really bad result yet again bit of an optimistic team put out by king Kenny and yet again 3 points lost that were badly needed. Even though i’m gutted we lost Blackpool did deserve to win cause the way we played was shockin although if we had a choice of what team to beat us if we had to take a hit i’d take Blackpool anyday. They’re what footy used to be like they’re not earning insulting wages like the rest of prem players and they play because they want to play and ain’t just chasing the money. If every team had Blackpools passion for the game rather than driven by greed and complaining they’re only paid £100,000 per week rather than £150,000 per week like thier team mates we’d have a much better league. I wish football could go back to bein about the game rather than revenues and sponsership deals. Well done Blackpool you deserved to win last night
still i wonder ….that Liverpool is facing problems is easy to see…..but to witness fans like yourself who more or less doesnt do anything else than complain is astonishing and sad…

The only thing i would like to know is why was he playing Poulsen and why J Cole was not playing. He’s been there when Roy was playing Poulsen and he saw that he is rubbish so why play him last night at all. long live the KING. YNWA

well done Blackpool, we deserve what to lose yesterday we was shocking,if you put shit players on the pitch you are going to get shit football, the team are not giving us any passion or team spirit on the pitch if this carries on we wont have no new supporters coming through who wants to support a bunch of losers,if we dont sighn any players in this window we will not be in the prem next season

i think it demonstrates my opinion that our problems were trifold. The 3rd segment is the squad quality. Some of these players need to be replaved. We need a good full back, a left back, a winger and a striker. Not much to ask. Why we didn’t keep crouch or bellamy. We need to rally for the derby because the bluenoses will fancy their chances.
The Torres worship has got to stop because it’s coloring
the overall honest assessment of our club. We are now a mid-table
club. Even with Stevie G. we simply lack the overall talent to
realistically compete for top six. What our players look like on
paper is shite because none of that presumed quality is showing up
on the pitch. Torres is no exception, in fact he’s probably the
singular glaring example of this fact. He had maybe ten bright
minutes in an overall dismal performance last night. Earlier in the
campaign when we were actually winning a few matches, other than
Chelsea, can anyone point to a single example where Torres looked
bright? He was getting plenty of service and not converting, even
on sitters. My count is that he’s flubbed eleven sitters this
season – absolutely shocking for a player of his CV. Our entire
offensive thrust is based on getting the ball to this man’s feet
but he has neither the pace nor the skill to keep the ball up, move
around defenders, or create any space for himself. He loses the
ball all time, he takes extra touches, he’s become predictable. All
that said there’s still room for hope with him, but we as fans
cannot put all of our eggs in this one basket. Torres has neither
the support around him nor currently the ability or inclination to
play up to his very real potential. It’s coming close to time for
the owners to fish or cut bait with him. His valuation, should he
not work out, might be more productive to our getting good young
starting talent into the team next year than building around him
with the prospect of more subpar performances.
