Liverpool 2 – 0 Stoke City
What a great win that was! We’re playing some brilliant passing football at the moment. The first goal was a great stike from Meireles, who fired it past Begovic after a Stevie Gerrard free-kick.
Cue the substitution of Suarez, to raptuous applause, and within minutes of his introduction, he gave us the second goal to make it 2-0 and essentally wrap up the game. Although the goal may be seen as an own goal, I don’t think any LFC fans would deny Suarez of his debut goal.
All in all, a great night of football at Anfield, bring on Chelsea!
