Following our midweek victory against Stoke we head to London to take on the ‘Rented ones’.
Roman Abramovich has splashed a few more million to keep his plastic army happy with both Fernando Torres and David Ruiz joining the historically challenged club in the January transfer window. Former red Yossi Benayoun will not feature as he is still injured while Alex and Zhirkov are also injured.
Joe Cole and Christian Poulsen are both doubtful however Jamie Carragher will likely start as he returns to the starting eleven following his long injury spell. I believe that Kenny will start new boy Luis Suarez while Andy Carroll is not 100% fit to play yet. Jay Spearing will not feature as he is injured.

I can see it being a fiesty match someone will see red i feel, and i don’t trust Andre Marriner hes a rubbish ref, still havn’t forgiven him for disallowing a goal at Anfield against Stoke 2 seasons ago, which was a blatant goal……YNWA
Now that Torres has gone and the partnersip with Gerrard he had do we still play Gerrard behind the striker? Maybe he can form one with Suarez, but id like him to be played in the centre of midfield, spraying passes allover and running on to the ball……YNWA i think it will be tight 2-1 either way
I think that’s the best lineup,nd i believe with that formation LIVERPOOL will surely defeat CHELSEA at stanford bridge.UP LIVERPOOL..
Better Marriner than Webb (for God’s sake)! Let’s not carried away lads….a draw would be more than positive, coupled with a decent pro-active display on the same rising level as we have shown in the last games.
