I wanna talk about the last four games we’ve played… the last four have been victories, and also four clean sheets in a role. For me and for all those who have watches LFC’s games this season, that could appear imposible for the most, because all of the unconfidence, the fear and the mistakes the team did. We were an easy team to defeat, we had no confidence in ourselves at all.
But, since the last five games, that means since Kenny Dalglish has came to manage this team, things have changed completely, now I don’t see defense mistakes at all… Carra, Agger, Skrtel and Kyrgiakos seem to know what they’re doing… they do not let the forwards pass, they do not let the ball in… and if that happens there is Reina to keep the score in 0.
I’ve seen a lot of people making critics about Lucas and Poulsen, but I have to admit that they seem to be much more confident in themselves to make an indestructible barrier there in the midfield.
About Kelly… there is nothing to say… he is so young but it seems like he’s had a lot of years playing in the first team in that position. The game against Chelsea was the prove that he has some good material to become a permanent player in the right side, like he’s been the last matches. And Johnson makes things right form the left, attacks when he has to attack and defends equally.
Meireles and Gerrard are two complete players who perform different functions both in defense and attack. The four Meireles’ goals are the proof of this… and about Gerrard… his name says it all.
Maybe Suarez and Carroll will complete this team doing what they know most… scoring goals for the team and destroying defenses.
If we review all this, we could think it’s an unbelievable team, capable to win everyone who stands in the front, and I hope it go that way, because I have to say, it’s a great team with a great coach who will do great things for the joy of all LFC’s supporters.
