Great news for LFC tweeters as the top two LFC Twitter sites are finalists in the 3rd annual Shorty Awards. Yours truly @empireofthekop is a finalist in the #sports category after finishing first in the nomination voting while the club’s official twitter @LFCTV is a finalist in the #Cultural Institution category after finishing third.
There are six nominees in each category and the official ceremony will be held on Monday March 28th, 2011 at the Times Center in New York City.
This is the 2nd year in a row that @empireofthekop has been a Shorty Finalist, unfortunately last year we missed out on the final prize.
