The ‘Dalglish’ effect

Kenny Dalglish has sparked a sensational revival at Liverpool, suddenly the dressing room and the training ground seems a nice place to be, Dalglish despite only being in charge of the club  for a short time has re-united the players and the players are now playing the type of football that the Liverpool supporters want to see. So how has Dalglish done it? He has established more of a link between the fans and the players unlike his predecessor Roy Hodgson, He has very much started a pass and move philosophy which has created a lot more chances and meant that players who weren’t playing to their best of their ability before Dalglish are now getting on the score sheet such as Raul Meireles. Dalglish has brought in two class strikers in Suarez and Carroll, I do however believe that 35 million deal for Carroll was a bit too excessive however when you consider that we sold Torres for 50 million and in my opinion Carroll has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the world as he is only young and has a long career ahead of him.

When Dalglish took over Liverpool were in the bottom half of the league and the supporters could only dream of securing a champions league place, but now a few months later it really is a possibility as Liverpool sit in 6th place and some if the teams in front of us are struggling like Chelsea and tottenham and we have to play United, City and Arsenal so we could end up finishing in 4th place at the end of the season.
