Maybe Houllier was right, there was something in this guy. After all he does have a Champions League Winners Medal ;-)

Antoine, it means a lot to me seeing this video posted on your site. I’m a long time Sounders fan. Back to the ’80’s. And started following Liverpool after the ’06 World Cup. Djimi Traore is the first connection I’ve had as a fan with both clubs. I was in the press box tonight for this goal, and the first thing I thought was how much it meant as a Sounders fan in CONCACAF Champions League. Not unlike his value for Liverpool in their 2005 European Champions League quest. This goal helped lift us to a 3-1 win (3-2 aggregate) over Tigres UANL. Becoming the first MLS club to advance past a Mexican club in Champions League. Liverpool, in my heart has some part in that. Thanks!!!
