Who should win?

The club’s Player of the Month candidates for November have been released with some interesting figures included on the four-man shortlist.

All in all in was a disappointing 30 days for the club, with just one victory coming in six matches in all competitions – and that was against Stoke City at the weekend.

For his performance at Anfield on Saturday Lucas Leiva has been included on the list after being installed back in the side by Brendan Rodgers.

The Brazilian has spent much of his time this season watching from the sidelines with Joe Allen, Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard all preferred in central midfield.

Glen Johnson is also included as a potential winner of the award after the right-back netted the winner against Stoke with a brave header and after a poor start to the campaign the 30-year-old has looked a lot sharper in recent times.

Next up is Rickie Lambert, who has found things difficult since arriving from Southampton over the summer, but scored his first goal for us against Crystal Palace in the Premier League – just a shame it was during a 3-1 loss.

Lambert also scored during the 2-2 draw with Ludogorets as November proved to be difficult for us in the Champions League.

A 1-0 loss was also suffered at the hands of Real Madrid, although it was a decent display at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and for his impressive showing Kolo Toure makes up the shortlist.
