Defenders top the list so far…
Here’s our ten most accurate passers this term in the Premier League.
Jordon Ibe should actually be top with 100%, but as he’s only played five minutes of football for us this season we left him out!

Ten Bosman free transfers Liverpool would be MAD not to consider, with Brazilian striker & Italian centre-back
10) Javier Manquillo – 82.8% success rate
The young Spaniard has been used as a right-back and a right wing-back this campaign, and has done well enough to justify our two-year loan move for him in the summer.
9) Glen Johnson – 83.3% success rate
The 30-year-old Englishman has had his season mostly decimated by injuries, and he’s started just the ten matches. He’s expected to leave in the summer on the expiration of his contract.
8) Emre Can – 84.2% success rate
The German powerhouse is now a fixture in our back-three, and these stats would be higher if they were based solely on his performances in defence – but he appeared in central midfield early on – where his passes would have been more ambitious.
7) Steven Gerrard – 86.1% success rate
The captain’s passing success rate is interestingly the highest it’s ever been in a Liverpool shirt. This is probably because of the deeper midfield role he’s been predominantly asked to play, where his role is to dictate tempo and maintain possession instead of solely creating chances.
