Let’s the hope the Belgian can maintain his excellent form, up against a potential teammate next season – Danny Ings.
DRC) Emre Can
Can’s ability to link the defence and midfield proves why he’s being used at the back right now rather in the midfield. His passing and drive from the right of the back-three helps us begin attacks.
DC) Martin Skrtel
The lynchpin of our defence, Skrtel will continue to lead the defensive unit at the heart of the back-three. He deserves far more credit for his recent performances than he’s received.
DLC) Dejan Lovren
Mamadou Sakho is fit and training, but Brendan Rodgers is usually loathe to drop defensive players unless they’ve had real shockers. Lovren hasn’t, and could continue against Burnley. (Even if we’d prefer the Frenchman to come back in…)
