The brilliant Spaniard is coming back!
Who’d have thought we’d ever see Xabi Alonso in a Liverpool shirt again…? Well – it’s happening. One of our greatest midfielders of the modern era has been confirmed for the Liverpool All-Star Charity Match at Anfield on March 29th.
Along with the likes of Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina and Luis Garcia, fabled Liverpool opponents such as Didier Drogba and Thierry Henry are also taking part in the star-studded game – which will feature two sides managed by Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard.
