It’s time once again for every Liverpool fans least favourite time of the season – the international break – which decrees that we must wait an entire fortnight before avenging our defeat against Manchester United.

With Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge having both pulled out, and with doubts over Raheem Sterling for the clash with Italy – who is suffering with a toe injury – there’s not even much Liverpool interest in England’s international fixtures.

So, with that in mind, now seems like the perfect opportunity to look back on the season that’s been and gone so far. In the list below we rank our five favourite moments from the current campaign…

5) Tottenham Hotspur 0-3 Liverpool (August 2014)

The Reds came up with the perfect response to their defeat against Manchester City, as we crushed Spurs at White Hart Lane. Raheem Sterling opened the scoring after just eight minutes, before Steven Gerrard and Alberto Moreno scored within 15 minutes of the re-start to polish off an impressive victory.
