Uncanny, right?

On this evidence, and bearing in mind his unstoppable form this season, it’s encouraging that Coutinho has recently spoken to LFC TV of his desire to become a Liverpool legend, as well as his target of breaking into the Brazil side on a regular basis.

“I want to be part of the Brazilian national team, to be playing, to be a great player and win titles, this is the most important thing,” Coutinho was quoted as telling the official club channel by the Daily Express.

“It’s what makes you become an idol in the club. This is what marks the club. I have this ambition, this goal of participating and winning titles.”

As well as personal glory at Anfield, the Brazilian has said he wants to be a part of title winning sides with the Reds and a part of the history of this great club.

Coutinho also opened up about his pride at a new banner unfurled at Anfield in tribute to him by Liverpool fans saying: “I felt really honoured. I remember we went to the field for our warm-up and the banner was there – it gave me goose bumps,” reports Daily Star.

But while he’s already loved and admired by all at Anfield, he hasn’t let it gone to his head admitting he still thinks he can improve and score more goals for the Reds.
