The Championship side are battling with an ever-growing casualty list ahead of our trip to Ewood Park on Wednesday night, when the two teams will be playing for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Simon Eastwood, Chris Taylor, Rudy Gestede, Chris Brown, Craig Conway, Grant Hanley, Josh King, David Dunn and long-term victims Shane Duffy and Jason Lowe could all miss the game.

To make matters worse for them, former Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing will be cup-tied, while Paul Taylor, David Raya and John O’Sullivan are also ineligible.

Despite their troubles, Gary Bowyer’s side had little trouble in dispatching Leeds United 3-0 this weekend, as they ominously hit form ahead of our impending visit.
