Gerrard, who was suspended for tonight’s 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers, simply posted a picture of the match-winning moment, with Philippe Coutinho scoring the decisive goal 20 minutes from time.
The 34-year-old, who leaves us for LA Galaxy at the end of the season, will be eager to return against Villa, when his three-match ban comes to an end. If we make the final, it could be his last game for the club.
Carragher was also on social media website Instagram, posting a video of the buoyant Liverpool fans at Ewood Park, celebrating a job well done from their team.
A win in the semi-final would see us take on either defending champions Arsenal or Championship side Reading in that final.
