Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge may be a major doubt for the FA Cup semi-final with Aston Villa, but that hasn’t stopped him having a laugh before the Wembley clash.

The 25-year-old is in a race against time to overcome a hip injury, that forced him off in the previous round against Blackburn, by kick-off on Sunday afternoon.

Nevertheless, he enjoyed a light-hearted interview alongside Michael Owen. In the chat – which is part of the build-up to BT Sport’s coverage of the game – the two forwards discuss our illustrious history in the competition and the intricacies of Sturridge’s trademark celebration.

But, much like his commentary, Owen goes off discussing his own achievements, and fails to even remotely replicate Sturridge’s dance.

However, it wasn’t the former Red-turned dreadful commentator that the England international was actually speaking to, but the impressionist Darren Farley. Farley – who also does uncanny impressions of our boss Brendan Rodgers, and former manager Rafa Benitez amongst others – had Sturridge in stitches.
