The Reds would no doubt settle for a repeat of the 2-1 victory at Anfield earlier this season, when Adam Lallana scored his first goal for the club.

Although Lallana’s strike was later cancelled out by a Saido Berahino penalty, there was still time for Jordan Henderson to secure all three points for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

For Lallana, that goal was undoubtedly one of the highlights of a difficult first season on Merseyside – a campaign that has been plagued by a number of injuries.

He hasn’t featured at all since the defeat to Manchester United at the end of March and will no doubt be anxious to get back involved before the end of the season, with the last of his five goals having come in the FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace in mid-February.

For now, you can enjoy one of the £25m-man’s finer moments, which came against Albion back in October:
