Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno certainly missed a trick when he ordered these new shoes. After posting the picture below on Instagram, he received a long-list of complaints and it won’t take you long too work out why.

The bright blue adidas trainers are certainly impressive, complete with the initials of both player and club, as well as his squad number. However, you can’t help but think they’d look a little better in red!
Supporters certainly concurred. David France said: “In red would be better not in bitters Colours lol.” Wayne Creswell agreed, saying: “@amplfc18 nice but they would be better in red.”
Moreno is hoping to return to the Liverpool side for Saturday’s game against Queens Park Rangers after missing the last two games – the draw with West Bromwich Albion and the defeat to Hull City on Tuesday – with a knock.
The Spanish full-back has made 39 appearances in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers’ side so far this season, scoring twice. He’s been one of the more popular of our summer signings, having more than lived up to his £12m price-tag. He’ll now be hoping to push on and make good on his full potential over the coming months.
