The Reds take on Everton at Goodison Park, looking to close the five point gap on league leaders Manchester United. This is our game in hand on the Red Devils, so with four games remaining we still have every chance of beating them to the trophy.

There will be plenty of fine young talent on show tonight, despite the fact that some of the more well known names – such as Jerome Sinclair and Sheyi Ojo – are out on loan with Championship clubs.

Here are five starts in the making to watch out for:

5) Daniel Trickett-Smith

An intelligent attacking-midfielder who loves to drift in and out of that hole behind the strikers. A 19-year-old England youth team international who joined us from Crewe in 2012, the youngster signed his first professional contract with the club last summer. He’s made 14 appearances for the Under-21s so far this season, scoring twice.

4) Connor Randall

The attacking full-back was our captain for the 3-1 win over Tottenham last week. A local-born starlet, he’s been a member of the Reds academy since the age of eight. The 19-year-old played in the end of season friendly against Shamrock Rovers last year and has continued to build on that this term, featuring on loan for Shrewsbury.

3) Harry Wilson

The Welsh international has scored six goals and provided eight assists so far this season. He only turned 18 back in March and undoubtedly has a bright future ahead of him. He has been with Liverpool since the age of nine, working his way up through the youth system. He played in a World Cup qualifier against Belgium in 2013.

2) Sergi Canos

The Spaniard was given the opportunity to train with the first-team squad earlier this year, proving how highly he’s rated by Brendan Rodgers. An attacking player who is capable of playing on the right or through the middle, the 18-year-old is a product of the famous Barcelona youth system. He’s scored twice so far this season.

1) Samed Yesil

Came back with a bang in his first start in six months against Spurs last week. He scored twice in the 3-1 win, offering Liverpool fans a glimpse of the potential on offer. The 20-year-old German forward was prolific for his national side at youth team level and will now be looking to continue rediscovering that form in a Red shirt.
