A realistic Liverpool signing from EVERY Premier League club, with Chelsea fullback & English forwards

The season isn’t over yet, but the transfer rumour mill is churning already, and after our disappointing campaign, we’re definitely going to enter the market ahead of 2015/16.

Here, we’ve outlined a realistic signing from every Premier League club. Most of them have already been linked at some point, while others simply fit the bill, in terms of our positional needs, availability and their current circumstance.

So… Reds – which of these players would you like to see at Anfield next season, if any?

Arsenal

Theo Walcott

The England winger’s contract expires in 2016, and he’s a boyhood Liverpool fan. If Raheem Sterling refuses to extend his own deal, Walcott seems a natural potential replacement option, although Arsenal want him to sign an extension. He provides pace, goals and natural width – although he’d prefer to be used a centre-forward. We could do with either, and due to his contract extension, he wouldn’t completely break the bank.

Aston Villa

Christian Benteke

Linked heavily with a £30m summer move, the Belgian powerhouse could be our summer solution to the striker problem which has characterised our season. For that money though, it’d be a risk, as his recent goalscoring form doesn’t hide the fact he couldn’t hit a barn-door for most of the term.

Burnley

Danny Ings

Ings is available on a free, and we’re favourites to sign him. He’s only 23-years-old, and has notched 10 Premier League goals for hapless Burnley. That’s more than any of our own players have managed. A decent squad player option, and an upgrade on Fabio Borini.

Chelsea

Filipe Luis

Filipe Luis is a brilliant, brilliant left-back, yet he’s hardly had a sniff at Chelsea due to Cesar Azpilicueta occupying the spot. Naturally, he’s unhappy with his role at the club, and with Alberto Moreno proving weak defensively on occasion, he’d be well worth a punt. Jose Mourinho has proven with Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku that he will offload good players to Premier League clubs.

Crystal Palace

Yannick Bolasie

We’ve been linked with the Congolese international, who’s really stepped it up for Palace since Alan Pardew arrived. Bolasie can play on either wing, but doesn’t offer nearly enough goals or assists. Is it a realistic signing? Yes. Is it an exciting one? Not so much.

Everton

Ross Barkley

Wouldn’t it be brilliant to poach the Bitters’ most promising star…? We’ve been linked with Barkley as a long-term Gerrard replacement on countless occasions, but in truth – he’s actually had a poor season considering his talent. He’d prove enormously expensive, but it shouldn’t perhaps be ruled out in the future.

Hull City

Andrew Robertson

The 21-year-old left-back is the best of a relatively uninspiring Tigers bunch. If Steve Bruce’s men are relegated, he’d surely become available, and wouldn’t be the worst option to bolster the left-back position.

Leicester City

Esteban Cambiasso

The legendary Argentine has been superb for the Foxes, who look like they could avoid relegation against all odds. He’s available on a free this summer, and as a squad option, could provide the experience and steel in midfield that will leave when Steven Gerrard departs to MLS. We could naturally sign more exciting midfielders, but this could be Rodgers’ ‘Gary McAllister moment’.

Manchester City

James Milner

We’re 4/6 favourites to secure Milner, who’s yet to renew his contract at the Etihad. On a free transfer, his signing seems a no-brainer. We’ve also been linked with Stevan Jovetic, who could prove a similarly exciting signing.

Manchester United

Radamel Falcao

The Colombian striker is on loan at our bitter rivals, but we’ve been linked with taking him from AS Monaco once the temporary deal ends. He’s struggled in England, but his quality is simply undeniable. His best days seem behind him, however… A tricky one, as to whether we should be excited by it or not.

Newcastle United

Moussa Sissoko

Few Newcastle players have covered themselves in glory this term, but the French international is probably the best of the bunch. Sissoko’s physicality is exceptional, and he’d add some much needed dynamism to the centre of the park. He’s too good for this current Newcastle outfit, and plays in a position we need to strengthen.

QPR

Charlie Austin

The only QPR player we’d shake a stick at. Austin’s notched 17 Premier League goals this term, an unbelievable achievement for a forward playing in such a poor outfit. He’s proven he’s good enough for the top-flight, and there’s likely to be a scramble for his signature as a result. Is he good enough for a top side? Only time will tell.

Southampton

Morgan Schneiderlin

Arsenal are the heavy favourites for Schneiderlin, but if last summer proved anything, it’s that Southampton’s best players will move to Anfield… The Frenchman is perhaps the one we should have targeted in the first place, however. He can create, but is more renowned for the central platform he provides through tackles and interceptions.

Stoke City

Asmir Begovic

Begovic can’t even get in the Stoke side right now, and would jump at a move. He’s been linked countless times in the past, and would provide stiff competition for Simon Mignolet between our sticks, considering Brad Jones seems to be on his way out.

Sunderland

Costel Pantilimon

Like Begovic, Pantilimon would arrive as a very solid backup option to Mignolet. He won the Premier League as a reserve option to Joe Hart while at Manchester City, and is by no means a liability. If Sunderland go down, he’d potentially seek a Premier League move.

Swansea City

Ashley Williams

We’ve been continuously linked to the Swansea captain ever since Rodgers took the helm three years ago. Williams is a decent Premier League defender, but we don’t particularly see him as a long-term option, or an improvement on what we already have. Let’s hope this rumour has no real foundations in it.

Tottenham

Mousa Dembele

Dembele is very talented, but has for some reason not been able to fulfil it so far at White Hart Lane. For this reason, Spurs would likely sell, and his versatility could bolster our squad. He can play as a holding midfielder or an attacking one, and at 27, he’s entering his prime. Unfortunately, we feel Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen (better players) are unrealistic, and that Tottenham would ask for simply outrageous sums for either.

West Brom

Saido Berahino

The youngster is West Brom’s best player by some distance. 18 goals so far this season in all competitions is a decent return, but his tendency to go on barren runs in front of goal is a little worrying. If he comes with the usual inflated Premier League price-tag, we’d be wary about signing the England Under-21 international.

West Ham United

Alex Song

Song started superbly with the Hammers after signing on loan from Barcelona, who will not stand in the way of a summer departure. The Cameroonian’s known as an anchorman, but his technical skills and ability to run with the ball means he can create, too. He’s done enough with Sam Allardyce’s men to show he could also improve our midfield should we become properly interested.
