The Reds announced their return to Thailand earlier today and the Daily Star have been quick to tie in the news with the rumours of Milner’s potential move to Anfield. The Manchester City man is a free agent at the end of the month and has been strongly linked with us, most recently by BBC Sport.

According to our official website, we will return to Bangkok in July, two years on from a successful visit to the capital city. The All Stars have been confirmed as our opening opponents, with the game taking place on Tuesday July 14.

We will also travel to Brisbane, Adelaide and Kuala Lumpur in a much-anticipated tour, as Brendan Rodgers’ side begin their preparations for the 2015-16 campaign.

“With so many Liverpool fans in Thailand, the opportunity to play in the country is fantastic and the team are really looking forward to it,” said midfielder Joe Allen.

“The reception the club received during the 2013 visit was unbelievable and I am looking forward to experiencing that passion and delivering some great football.”

The full Liverpool squad are expected to make the trip, as well as former players Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush, who will be continuing our work within the Thai community and taking part in official supporters’ club events.
