Click through the list below to see how each member of the Liverpool squad rated for the 2014-15 season based on the Echo’s poll – which accumulated over 50,000 votes – where the most popular score was carried forward for the overall mark.

Be warned however, only five players managed a score of six or more, while poor Jose Enrique wasn’t the only one to be scraping a mark by the skin of his teeth.

Would you agree with these scores? Let us know below.

Joe Allen – 5/10

It’s been a mixed season for the Welshman and this mark is probably about right. He certainly had some good games – the one against Manchester City probably the best in a Liverpool shirt – but he still lacks consistency.

Mario Balotelli – 4/10

Again, it’s hard to make a case for Mario scoring any higher. He only scored four goals in all competitions, with just one of those coming in the Premier League. Considering the price we paid he simply needed to be doing more.

Emre Can – 7/10

Can will feel a little hard done-by; we’d have been inclined to give him eight. He certainly faded in the final weeks of the season but as a young man playing out of position his campaign as a whole will be viewed as a success.
