The iconic former Liverpool defender threw a party in Ibiza on Wednesday to mark the occasion. According to the Daily Mail, guests took to the dancefloor after enjoying a meal to celebrate the event as the sun set on the beautiful island. You can check out of a couple of the best snaps below.
Carragher made over 700 appearances for the Reds before retiring two summers ago. The 37-year-old spent an incredible 17 years with the first-team, winning 12 major trophies, including the Champions League in 2005.
He was voted our Player of the Year on three separate occasions and was once put into the PFA Team of the Year. He played an important role as Steven Gerrard’s long-time vice-captain, leading the side of many an occasion, an proved himself to be an inspirational figure both on and off the pitch.
