(Video) Mamadou Sakho tricks Liverpool teammate into signing his shirt

Mamadou Sakho got the better of Liverpool teammate Adam Lallana in Brisbane this afternoon, after jumping into the crowd and pretending to be one of the supporters asking for an autograph.

Lallana signed Sakho’s training bib – which he had held out to him – without looking up, and it was only when the Frenchman celebrated his victory that the midfielder realised his mistake.

Both players have been in fine form during pre-season thus far – scoring goals two and three in the 4-0 win over the Thai All-Stars on Tuesday. We play our second pre-season game of the new campaign on Friday against the Brisbane Roar, before games against Adelaide United, the Malaysia XI and HJK from Finland.

Sakho and Lallana will both be hoping for big seasons after injury-hit campaigns last time out. Brendan Rodgers spent big money on these two – more than £40m in total – and they need to start proving their worth over the next twelve months.
