He just can’t help himself, can he?
Mario Balotelli today decided to take to Twitter in support of his former team-mate Raheem Sterling, who made his Manchester City debut – scoring after three minutes.
As Twitter exploded, the Italian decided to weigh in with support of the 20-year-old, who along with his agent, aggressively forced his way out of Anfield in undignified, unappreciative fashion.
First, Balotelli told Sterling to ‘keep it up,’ before weirdly telling Liverpool fans they should be supporting the player as well.
Yes Mario – Liverpool is a family – but Sterling actively chose to leave it, and he now plays for a direct rival. Of course we’re not going to support him, considering the disrespect he’s continually showed the club throughout the entire calendar year.
While footballers will obviously maintain friendships after players move clubs, Balotelli has a duty to his current fanbase in regards to his social media antics.

Still – it doesn’t seem like it’ll matter much soon – with the forward almost certain to be shipped out – although Inter Milan are the latest to have rejected us offering him on loan (via Mirror).
